About
What is this?
This site lets you have a bot in your twitch chat that responds to commands to create timers and display them on your stream.
Cool, how do I get one?
All you need to do is link your twitch account on the home page and then configure your timer.
Why do I need to link my twitch account?
So that we can authenticate who you are and that you own the channel you're requesting the timer in. See our privacy policy for more information.
You mentioned I could have it show on my stream?
Yes! At the bottom of the timer settings page there's a link to copy for a browser source in Streamlabs or OBS. Create a browser source, put that as the URL and then fit the timer into your scene how you see fit. When a timer is started it will show on stream, and it will be hidden when no timers are active.
I have my own twitch bot, can I use that instead?
Yes! Head on over to the bot settings page and link your bot account and the timer will operate through the bot account.
I don't like the way the timer bar looks, can I change it?
Sure! More or less everything can be changed on the timer settings page. If there's anything else you'd like to be able to change, get in touch?
Who are you and how do I get in touch?
I'm cryogen! Nice to meet you. You can find me on twitter and twitch.
How do I start a timer?
The broadcaster or moderators can start timers by typing in chat !timer 5m
. This example will start a 5 minute timer. You can use h for hours m for minutes and s for seconds. So for a 1 hour 30 minute timer you type !timer 1h30m
How do I stop a timer?
Simply type !timer stop
in chat and it will stop.
